The bottom of the T/A is completed! The aft end was a pain in the backside! Time to bolt the front end on to check panel alignment, going to the body shop in 3 weeks!

Brian,
I’m restoring the car by the number, all original. All but the parts you can’t see! So I ordered a complete rotating assembly with forged crank, rods and custom piston. I hope to put the engine together while the car is at the body shop!
Thanks!

Ahh I see. Reason I asked is that I bumped into the guys from March at Carlisle and they suggested hopping over to Butler to see their setup on a Pontiac. They were running a special of 15% off with free shipping - too bad I couldn't take advantage of that! According to the rep I was talking to they were coming out with a modular system like the chevies in 4-6 months and could add in the PS and AC pumps at extra cost.

Looking forward to seeing more of this build as I love this year car - love to find one one day that I could afford to buy/bring back!

Received my completely restored brake booster & master cylinder From Bill in TN. His attention to detail and the correctness of the restoration is 1st class! All parts re-plated as original. I also installed most of the front end body part this past weekend. One step closer to the body shop!

Eroc & 1fast78, Thank You!

On anther forum (PY) I found this great guy that some of you may know? His PY forum name is 70RAIII (Bill from TN) to date he has restored and plated many parts for my 72 T/A the latest is a complete disassembly of my hood latch. Note all parts removed re-plated and reassembled with new rivets. The rivets and reassemble was preformed by another great guy you may also know (Craig aka Norwood)
The work they do in one word is AWESOME!
