For all you who have set up the radiator and the condensors- what kind of spacing do you have between the condensor and the radiator? The premise of my question is that my L78, TH350, 3.23 gears TA will run down the hwy and along city streets at 180 all day long.
When I get to the hwy and turn on the AC( all new as of last year) the engine temp climbs to 220 but then stays there.
I have replaced the fan clutch, the lower radiator hose, the radiator was replaced last year and was purached new and is a 4 core. I can't think of any pertinent info to include but, ask for it if you need something else to suggest something. I would really like to see that temp stay down in the 190's, we haven't even gottne hot in TX yet!
