Title: high voltage problem?

80 ta pace car problem...when rpm's are above 3'000 the volt guage goes above 15v then a warrning buzzer starts and won't stop until the key is turned off. when restarted all is fine until high rpms again. I replaced the altinator same problem. Any ideas or suggestions welcome
