Well, the 17" repro,s look just like a 15x8 snowflake. The other wheels are like the ones ion the BRE TA,s made by Year One.

You mean you've ORDERED the 17 X 9 Reproduction Snowflakes, don't you?  Nobody's gotten them yet and I'd be upset if my credit card had already been charged. ??? ???

Yes, I ordered the snowflakes.  My credit card was charged back on November 2nd for the rims, but I probably won't see them until February sometime if I am lucky.  Yes, me and everyone else who has already ordered them, they are using our money for the R&D on the rims to get them done.

Here was my latest conversation with Year One......

My Question:
It has been over 10 weeks and I still have not heard anything yet about my order.  Any updates??

Year One response:
Thank you for your orders and the email below. Our Snowflake Wheel Shipment is still on schedule for delivery in mid to late Feb.
We will ship as soon as we receive.
Please let us know if you have any further questions and good luck with your restoration project.

My Response:
Nowhere in the order did it state a “February” ship date.  It stated “Please allow 1-to-4 weeks for delivery of this item”.  Why was I not told the shipment would be February??  Why was that fact not advertised anywhere??

Year One Response:
Thank you for your reply and we apologize if there was a misunderstanding.
The Cast aluminum snowflake wheels are a YearOne exclusive and we waiting on the 1st production run. Our schedule delivery date (always subject to delays) is mid to late February.
Our introductory price was set low to encourage sales of the 1st run. I have been informed the price will increase once the 1st run has been received.
If you would like to remain on order, you are reserved at the introductory price and will receive your shipment from the first run.
If you prefer, I will be glad to cancel and refund your card in full. At your request we will sent you an email alert when the wheel have arrived, if you are still interested?

"The Cast aluminum snowflake wheels are a YearOne exclusive"
Am i wrong here but from their wording it sounds like they are the only ones who will have and sell these snowflakes.
I bought my rims from Restore a Muscle Car and like everyone else i am waiting on mine also.
I do believe these are the same rims 17*8

I can't wait to see these 17's on a T/A  here . The wait would be killing me though ,seems like a long time to get them in stock . You think tey would have advertised when the wheels were actually available?
 I like there tactics

Somebody over on TAC reported that they got a postcard from YO saying that the new production time had been slipped to something like June now. :(
