I've never seen a 'bird like this one before.

That is the gold bird with orange highlights for black non-Special Edition Trans Ams.  That one in the photos is the way it fades over time.

I want to bring her back to factory.

It came with the gold snowflakes, Hurst T-tops, small red bird on sail panels.  Black with gold pinstriping, and an orange and red hood bird.

also i wanted to point out that black 78's only came with gold decals.  se's or not, they were gold decals, you could not get red & charcoal prior to 79.   hitman explained it best,   the birds would fade to a orange or yellow color & it is hard to see the original color.   your car was correct with a gold, non se bird.   but like most people say, do what you want with it, it is your car.
