how rare is this bird

my 81 ta as 305 4bll auto 33000km (19000mls) all org. paint tires int etc. PHS said no 305 auto made in US. build sheet shows it is. anybody know how many made or came to canada. is it a rare bird tks. mesz28 ::) ::)

this may seem like a dumb question but did you match up the build sheet with the vin number could it be a build sheet for a different car?

A car built for Canada would be the exception...they did receive the automatic with the 305.

Canadian Market could get the 305 auto like Jeff stated

My 1978 firebird formula came with a 305 and a 4spd, it is a w50 car.  Anyone know how many with these were built?  It is a Canadian car.  Any help would be great.  I haven't been able to find any production #s.

tks nexus your build sheet same as mine with 2 #'s for auto now we know of 2 there certianly must be more out there tks. for info and time i'm not finished researching yet i love to hunt    tks mark
