this person has the car listed as a L78-W72 car well........................which one is it make up your mind? funny thing is i can see this car is no where near as clean as mine yet some how its already up to $5,100 i only have a $100 lead on this guy hmmmmmmm? the interior is worse than my crappy interior the body is rustier than mine etc but i cannot get over the fact they list both engines well come on i bet its the L78 as standard as that car is anyhow.

It is a L78 engine.  All the engines with the W72 upgrade were L78's.  My build sheet has L78 400...also W72.

They did that a lot back in the day.  They protect the paint.  The popular ones were chrome.

The interior on the car is terrible.  And, it looks like they painted over the rusty area's.

But, it is a desirable car.  They stopped offering the W72 performance upgrade for automatics about half way...or sooner in the model year.  And it's real nice to have that coupled with the WS6 suspension.

No, it was a cut piece of stainless steel or aluminum.  Actually they were really nice.
