Not worth 1/2 that.  It's a non-original engine and the guy has no idea what he is selling.  90K on a rebuilt engine?  How many miles on the chassis?  Too many things wrong with that one to even start to list.  All of us here would love to have cars worth $60K but, we know that there may be a handful of '77 TA's that will come close to that mark.

Just my opinion....

thats is maybe a 5k car.  less to the guy that wants a correct car.  I see about 8 things wrong with it just from the crappy pics.

If your selling a classic car for more than 20,000....craigslist isn't the place for it.  That guy is crazy

Seems too steep to me, he didn't mention if it was a numbers matching car.  Looks like it needs a fair bit of work.

how could it be?  455 in a 1977 ?  with 78 origanal honeycomb snowflakes.

I say if the guy is just flipping a t/a ,  do your homework first on the car. so you dont sound like a fool.

I didn't think a 455 was offered in the 1977.

I really can not believe this guy is serious about this car. I feel like writing him but I don't think it would get anywhere.

1fast78 the 455 was dropped after 76. 77-79 was the last for the 400. It is rare for a 77 to have a 455 but I could put a 455 in my 79 and it would be rare and not numbers matching. 1fast78 the second have of my post is not being a smart a$$ to u but  the idiot selling the car.

No offence taken here.  I figured you were talking about the seller.

In the craigslist/Pawn Stars age, most seem to think that their stuff is this amazing, rare, worth a ton of money item.  It rarely is.

I would bet that the people who could drop $42,000 on a car like this would want it to be a numbers matching, all original vehicle.   I hope whoever buys it (no one) or considers buying it (hopefully no one) does an intense amount of research

I hope some one with the knowledge goes and picks the car and the owner apart.  And lets him know that it isn't worth much more than 5k

I wonder if his wife said, sell that car.  he doesn't want to. So he makes up this asking price that he figures, if some fool pays it, I will take it.

Either that, or he is really smoking something good.
