WS4 means Trans Am.

LOWMILE not to hi-jack but I was always told WS4 was replaced by the WS6 on the tags when that package was released is that true?
I long for the peace that only driving a t/a can bring.

not all WS6 cars have WS6 on the body tag.   I have 2 Ohio  WS6 79 T/A's  with WS4 on the body tag but the build sheet has WS6

My Cali-built WS6 doest have WS6 on the tag either.

My Norwood ws-6 only has ws-4 on cowl tag also.

WS4 is the RPO Code for Trans Am   like the W50 is the Formula

here is my build sheet.   I have seen the  big WS4 in the lower left of the sheet read WS6 .  and you can see in the list its a WS6 T/A Mark IV Performance Package

I have no clue why GM put WS6 on some body tags,  because the WS6 is the RPO Performance Package upgrade.

then you car has a low production #  it 1 of 1530 made .  my 79 is a 301 4 speed  t-tops
