Sorry I havn't been around I don't get online much these days. I try to stop over at TAC once in a while I always seem to forget about stopping in here. Heath wise I'm still in a holding pattern. But still pushing forward.
The T/A has been sitting for a couple of years now. I did start to build a custom sheet metal dash last year I got it pretty close to finished on the fab part then stopped working on it. About 6 months ago I  decided I didn't like it and pulled it back out and scrapped it. Then I put a stock dash back in it I just wanted to drive it so I was just going to through it back together.
Then I came to my senses and pulled that back out and this past weekend I started to work on a fiberglass dash and console. So far I'm really liking it.

So the new plan is fiberglass dash and console with the dash rolling onto the doors. The dash , console and door inserts are going to be Gomango to match the exterior. The seats and remaining door panels are going to be tan. The rear well tub area will be black and tan. It's going to have black carpet. It's coming together now. I just need to get some money to buy the carpet and materials for the doors and kick panels.
So far I'm really happy with how the dash is turning out. I've done allot of mods on it. I also had to add about three inches in width. Plus a number of gauge pods which I decided to recess them all. The one all the way over on the passenger side is going to be a clock encase anyone is wondering.

Made some more progress today. Started working on the gauge pod for the speedo and tach.

The templet all made.

Templet mounted in the dash.

The foam all applied.

Started the shaping.

Almost the final product before the glass goes on.

It was a very productive day not only was I working on the T/A dash but installing a rocker and quarter section in my ZR2 Blazer.

This is a race car dash made for door slammers so it's very basic. Its modeled after a 2000 Grand Am. I'm doing a bunch of changes to it. I'm just getting started. Still have to build the center part of the dash and meets the console and build the console.

Having your skills would be wonderful. I'd then only need Hitman's money. LOL

Just incredible from beginning to end.

I found some time to work on the dash today. I got the fist coat of glass on it. Going to put the second coat on tomorrow. With the AC running in the garage it's not drying to fast.  ;D

Thanks I wish I had some money too. Thats the good thing about the stuff I'm doing now. Not much cost in it.
