Any ideas on this, mine is torn and needs replaced.
I have straightened the crimped areas up and have the top off but the washer doesn't want to come over the little metal T. and I don't want to force it as it feels like it will bend.
Does the washer and boot come off the top of the shaft, or does the shaft come apart where it slides into itself somehow?
