Topic: 79 10th T/A is back from the paint shop (pics)

Here are some shots of my 79 10th T/A fresh from the paint shop.  Haven't had it buffed or decals added yet.    The body came out very straight.  I can't see a ripple in it.  The paint came out nice and glossy with hardly any hint of orange peel, dry spots or runs.  I'm pretty happy with it.  The white spot on the sail panel is bird %$#@ that I didn't notice when I took the shots.  Don't pay any attention to the snowflakes as they were just an old set that I put on so that I could move the car around.  The engine and trans are both back from the rebuilders and ready to drop in.  I'll have to remove the front sheet metal again to get the engine and tranny in.  I only had the front sheet metal on so that the 2-tone paint could be lined up correctly. Also still have some work I want to to do in the engine compartment area.  Right now I'm cleaning and re-furbishing parts and sub-assemblies to get ready for the re-assembly process.  All of the spoilers, mirrors, shaker etc came out great also.  I'll post some more pics in the next few days.

i like that, it shows the ta without any weather stripping or trim. i dont like the gap between the door and the back panel and i dont like that rubber thing that is suppose to go along it

I like that silver paint!  But I like black...and white...and red.....and yellow....and brown....and blue...and..well, I like all the colors!  Yours looks terrific!
