:?: I want to say hi to every one here. I have learned a lot  from all you guys
thanks again. now lets get serious  I just picked up a 79 t/a  ws6  which the vin
number says  it came with a olds 403  but found out that someone has changed  the motor to an olds 350 . I need to know if all the accessories  like the alt. ac. ps. and all the brackets  will fit  from the 350 olds to the 403 olds.
any information will be helpfull and appreciated thanks.

Hello and welcome to the board. Even though someone swapped in an Olds 350 all the brackets, etc will interchange with the 403. Are you planning to put a 403 back in your 79 TA?

:) thaks for the info. well to tell u the truth i was thinking about it. now im not too sure what i want to do. what would be a suggestion on a decent  performance motor that would be emessions legal  in california.

I don't know all I should about the regs in California to answer that question. But, I would think that you could get either the 350 or 403 past emissions with a good tune, cats and muffler. After all, CA cars came with 403 Olds engines.

I'm sure Russ can jump in here and tell ya more about what you'll need to do to pass the sniff test.
