i'm following pointman 's lead on this. I am going to bring two cars, so i guess they only need 126 more. I truly encourage you guys here to go. How many all firebird shows are there? I'm not going to florida for stars when the possiblity of snow exists here in ohio. That just tain't happn'en. it's a nice show, close, come on go with us on this, less than 200 miles! The indy people, ohio people and michigan people need to support this show strongly. I am an ohio person and honestly i don't see going to even saratoga due to the distance/time. This show is close and reasonably priced. and you get judged by real experienced judges. The people are nice and have gone through some tough times financially and emotionally to put this together. A "Go No Go" date is a fair statement. we can not expect people like us to sacrafice their personal expenses for a show for the cars we love, thats just not right. If you feel i am pointing you out unfairly then so be it. This is definately not the type of talk we should be having about a "local" show for our babies. Come on guys and gals, help out participate, bring a car, encourage your friends to bring a car.
My car even got hit at the mayfly festival two years ago, i did not make the prior years show, i paid and got my goody bag at dayton, thank you, and the show was cancelled last year because i amongst others were slow to register. But even though my car got hit, and it still cost me $2300 out of my own pocket to fix it beyond the other guys insurance, i still support these people and the show and no i do not know the people running the show.
I truly am shocked that any thing but positive encouragement would be written about this show.
this is a good show and i look forward to seeing my buddy Gerrit at this show and the rest of you, please support this show. Tim
