Hi everyone, I am new here. My name is Lisa (AKA JOSE) from CA. I was hoping the run would move closer the CA. Thinking about a very small local run to mirror the FL dates. Anyone ever try this? ;D

Some people stayed a couple miles away last year at a motel for $50 or less a nite, as opposed to the $90/nite we paid at the host hotel.  And they got free shuttle back and forth to the showgrounds.  The host hotel is convenient, but nowhere close to the cheapest ones around there.  The rooms this year are about $10 higher than last year too.
thx yeti, thats kinda what i thought...100 clams a nite adds up quick.   by the way anybody doing that "BAN ONE" show the w/e before? great way to kick off the run .

I will be at the Ban One Show along with several other Bandit Runners

I think you can run with the group and join up with us at any point but if you want to take part in any of the activities like the parade laps on the race track or museum visits you will have to register. I do not know this fore sure but I think thats what was done in previous years. Red aka "Z1" would better answer that question than I.

Also, you get the discounted hotel prices when you are registered I believe.

Wel, since The Bandit Run's first stop is in my hometown, I would be crazy not to join in  ;D. I'm really excited about it because I wasn't sure if I was going to make it this year.

17 days left!   Getting the new rear end tomorrow from GA.  Frank is heading down early in the morning and will be back later that evening.

Can't wait!  Got all our shirts (TA's) ready for the run, and the TA is running top notch at the moment!!!

Woah that would have been a rough trip in that hot weather with a bad radiator! Glad it went when it did. But with this many older cars on the road, there's bound to be a few breakdowns so you might want to pack a few tools if you can spare it. If not for you for someone else if they need it.

I had a belt go bad on me on the run a couple years back. Luckily it happened about a quarter mile down from an auto parts store. All they had was Mexican made belts but beggars can't be choosers!

Going to take the Firehawk this year so the gas won't be as cruel to me. Wish I was taking the 76 but its just a little too far and I need to do some adjustments under the hood in the next few months.

BANDIT RUN 2010- This much fun should be illegal!
