[Trans am Oz]

dont know what you guys are talking about but some photos have been posted  
getting late here so quick post
arrived on time here in Memphis this arvo and picked up the F150..its a 4 door,a V8 and the thing is huge (Kaz wants one)
going to see the sights tomorrow before we head off to Nashville on Tuesday

a huge thankyou again to Mike,Brett,Fred and Tami for taking time out in their busy days to play host to us and shouting us to some great tucker....totally unexpected
see you guys at the Nats

So a quick recap
We left Niagra falls on Friday morning and hit the road to Detroit,

 stopping for lunch with Brett and Mike (see Hammers photo)
After saying goodbye to the guys we hit he road and made it to our hotel (Center Parkway near Pontiac) in the late arvo....still plenty of time to check in and then check out the cruising going on that night


On the Saturday we went to the cruise...weather wasnt the best (rained a bit) but we meet some great people during the day before meeting up with a great couple (Fred and Tami) who took us out for the night

I'll post pics of the cruise when i get home
Sunday morning the GTO club staying at the hotel had a carshow in the carpark .. look what showed up

Kaz and i wanted to take this one home with us


After that we headed to the Ford museum and meet up with a couple aussies we knew (baz and bealy)

before heading to the airport for our flight to Memphis

When we landed in Memphis  (5.30pm) we got the rental bus to Avis and picked the truck up

hi guys, yeah sorry about the lack of pics, we are just having too much fun.  We are sitting at Memphis airport now awaiting our flight to Columbus, OH to meet up with the TA guys at the nats.  Since Detroit last Sunday, we flew into Memphis and visited Graceland, Sun Studio, Rock and Soul Museum and Beale Street, then drove to Nashville but took the long route going via Lewisburg to check out a old wreckersand then fayetteville, beautiful countryside. oh and stopped off at the Jack Daniels Distillery before hitting Boulevard Ave in Nashville for some country music.  Spent 2 days in Nashville, again before heading back to Memphis to catch our flight out.  Hope to see you at the nats, and for those not attending we should have some time to actually post pics..

It was really great to have dinner with you two last night and be able to spend some time together at the Nats.  If I don't get to see you tomorrow (Sunday), have a great rest of your trip, and I hope we get to meet up again one day.
