Title: Vehicle Certification Question
Post by: S76GUY on November 10, 2006, 04:46:43 AM
Would anybody happen to have a photo or know
exactly where the certification sticker goes on
the left door for a 1977 T/A?

I am under the impression they moved them every
few years. Is that true? And what is correct?

Brett
That is exactly what I was looking for.
One last thing?
There is a clear plastic cover that goes over it.
Is it the same exact size with the edges rounded
as the certification sticker?
Or is it a little larger with just pointed edges?
I ask because the one I got has pointed edges?
Thanks Again

the original one was actually a laminated sticker, so that is why you usually see the clear plastic peeling off.  It was actually part of it.  If you have a separate peice that goes over it, it is just trying to replicate the original.  So, it should be the same size with the rounded edges.
