One thing I noticed...........Thats a pretty hard bitten looking crew you got in there helping you ;D

Thats one thing I didn't really get the oppurtunity to do. My dad had neither the time nor the patience when I was that age to show me much of anything. I didn't really begin to interest him till I was about 16-17 years old. I worked with him a lot later in life, and it's one thing I really enjoyed, but when I was a kid, my dads idea of interaction with me was pretty much "Here's 5 bucks, go away" or "Why don't you go outside and play".

I guess that was just the way he was raised

Picked up my T/A from the body shop today so I could test fit the fender flairs and spoilers before they paint the car. It should go back for paint in 3 weeks!

I thought that was a Challenger in the first pic of the motor........ ever watch Tombstone? "It appears Mr Ringo is an educated man.......... now I really hate him!"........  ;D joking of course....... not to hijack the thread......... i guess there is no better person to ask than you....... it's been a big question of mine as to how the GT500 would compare to the Challenger....... in your expierence...... tough question..... but, whats got more? What do you like best?

They are both awesome cars! I hope to take the Challenger to the track in the next week or two. As for comparing them it’s not apples and apples, the Challenger is 10” longer and over 300 lbs heavier. Now if the Shelby only had 425 hp and the Challenger had 500 hp it would be closer. The Challenger is more like a midsize car (like a original GTO) as apposed to the Shelby which is more like the original pony-cars (Firebirds, Cudas, & Mustangs) It look like the new Camaro is only 2” longer then the Shelby and about the same weight. Now if they ever bring back the Trans Am I going to have to add on to the garage
Thanks!
