Did you win the lottery by any chance?
Nope! I just work hard 6 days a week at the same & only job for 29 years and I've been fortunate!

I look forward to your updates!  Looking fantastic, can't wait to see her when she's done ;D

Thanks!

I cant believe how far you've come and how close it is to being complete.......
Whats your plans for the interior? I have seen the pics of your charger and I can only assume, from the resto so far on the T/A, that the same is in store. Are you planning to get the originals recovered or new assemblys altogether or....... ? I see where you are having randy re-do your bezel....... have you started collecting other inside stuff? Your resto is unreal!..... and as for the pics of the motor / tranny..... well..... i dont believe i need to say anything...... WOW!!

Brad,
I can see light at the end of the tunnel, but there's so much left to do! I do have all the new interior covers and I hope to start recovering the seat soon! I just polished the roof so I can install the roof stripe, then I will install the headliner that I have hanging on the wall to get the wrinkles out (for the past 2 months) after that the dash is next! Like I said so much left to do!
Hey man thanks for your kind words!
Pat

Pick up some JW wheels at Carlisle and UPS drop off 2 of the 4 Firestone wide oval I order today. So I mounted two tonight and I'll get them balance tomorrow and bolt them on tomorrow night.

Pat -- I'm trying to remember -- did the 72 TAs come with the trim rings?  (If they did, then they'd be the sharp-edged shiny ones, not the rounded edge brushed ones.)  Are you going to use them? ???

Rick, No trim rings on the 70 - 72 T/A note the JW 15" wheels use a 14" wheel center and the rim is taller to make the space, very unique looking.

Getting close to finishing up Pat's dash bezel, lower right plate and heater/AC bezel, here are some progress pics, have about three hours left on the project with machining, clear coating, and reassembling, will look good as new when completed.....

Before Pics (Not in too bad of shape, typical oxidation, faded pattern in a few areas and the usual "yellowed" clear coat from exposure to the elements over the years..no surface rust or pits!!!!!!!!!!

After Sanding process:  80 grit, 120 grit, 180 hand sand, 220 grit, 320 hand sand.......

After the Polishing Process....two step....wiped down with laquer thinner, ready to be machined!

Will post some progress pics later this weekend...When Completed!
