if i haven't mentioned it before, that blue and that year are one of my favorites- the car looks awsome! you and i are going along the same lines as far as all the little "pieces". everytime i take something off or apart, i see all the tiny nuts, bolts, springs, etc, and i say to myself "hmmm, that needs to be painted". i really need to come up there real soon and check it out and get some more pointers  ;D

I hate you!!!

This car looks stunning. was your nose that straight on the sides or did you have to have it reworked? I noticed mine is a little warped on the sides and would like to attempt to have good gaps too.

Rick,
I spent a lot of time fitting the nose to the fenders before paint and it paid off! When you  start on yours PM me and I give you my cell # and I’ll walk you through fitting the nose.
Thanks!

Last week Kurt & I drove down to Barrett Jackson to check the cars out & watch the auctions. We also on the drive down stopped in Virginia to look at a 68 Mustang Fastback. After checking it out we struck a deal and Kurt bought the car. On the way back (by way of the Blue Ridge Parkway) 5 days later we pick it up and drove her home. Needless to say Kurt is on top of the world! It a 10 footer and need some work but in a year she will look great!

The original 289 and 3 speed manual are in the car. The motor runs great, no smoke and no oil burn on the 130 mile ride home. The trans needs to be rebuilt but we may put a 4 speed in?
Thanks!
Pat
