they dont date code them to a year for a car. all of them numbers are for the company to look at what plant and shift month they were made. if they have a defect (been known to happen) they need to be able to see where why and how along with possible recalls.

Trunk & spoiler stripe when on without a problem, put the car out in the sun for a few hours and all the small bumps cleared up and it looks great! Next is the roof stripe but I‘ll need someone with longer arms then Kurt to help.

Received a few decals from ECS  www.ecsautomotive.com  today. They claim to make factory exact labels & decals. After comparing a repro from one of the big Pontiac supplier along with the new ECS decal to my original emission control decal, you can see the differences. Thanks njsteve for the heads up on ECS, they have excellent decals.
