It's Jacks Mullet, circa 1980...
« on: September 18, 2009, 07:22:09 PM »
How's this for flashback material? That's me with my new 79 Nocturne Blue WS6 403 TA circa 1980. It was on the strip in Ft. Lauderdale during one of my winter cruises from NY to Florida to visit family. I was only 19 and the payments were $176 a month. 6 months later the car was stolen and found dismembered in the bowels of Brooklyn. Heartbreaking, but good memories.

Wow ... cool.  That looks like 1980.  Stolen and found in Brooklyn? ... no real surprise there.

Needless to say my six pack is now a mini-keg. Hey Mike, do I need to inspect your basement for blue body parts? And yes I was on top of the world, I was "free-as-a-bird now" (Skynyrd playing in background). It helped having that car while iin high speed pursuit of...well you know I was 19.
