detailed inflator bottle and brake booster
« on: July 22, 2011, 12:08:24 PM »
had a guy come over and buy some parts from me this morning and he loves old cars, has 100 of them, and looked over my brown ta and said the only thing he saw that he did not like was my gold painted brake booster.  he said either go all the way with new pieces or paint the booster black, MC with gold cap and silver lines which i already had, so i just painted booster black.  i like it much better, and i have heard the same thing from others.

also painted inflator bottle corp. blue and applied new label, looks brand new in car, which i like as well.

before brake booster, looks much better in this pic, up close it was obviously painted

The bottle is a big improvement, looks good. I thought the gold booster looks good too, although it may only looked painted to some close up, now it's definitely painted to anyone!

I like the cad booster, I think what people don't like is the $135 to have it re-done, 13 years later it still looks good

ebay motors, ships from the parts place, inc.  25 bucks to your door.

plans are to get all new stock pieces for the brake booster, MC, and lines, but this will do for now.
