Title: What All Needs To Be Removed/Kept When Going From Power Locks/Windows To Manual
Post by: 07GMC53 on August 06, 2013, 06:02:47 PM
I have an 80 T/A project car that I plan on running with no A/C/locks/windows/etc...  Basically if it's not necessary, I'm not going to use it.  When disassembling the car, what components from these areas should I keep and reuse and what can be tossed out or sold.  Thanks, Zak.

You need to keep the door, glass and the obvious stuff (door handle, etc...) manual windows have the window regulator and the crank handle and that's about it. You will need to plug the door holes both in the door and in the inside door jam at the hinges.
