#1 PLUG WIRE LOCATION

Where to put the #1 wire on the cap?Some say it's at 1 O'clock at TDC on the distributer and other's say at  5 O'clock on it at TDC both of my timing gear's are at 12....So do I point the rotor at the #1 cylinder

its how i do it.... everything points to 1 when its all lined up....

Ok,Thanks....Just making sure I get it right the first time..my timing mark is at TDC on the cover,the rotor is pointed at #1 cylinder,and #1 plug wire is at the front of the distributer cap around the 5 O'clock position...I just didn't want to crank on a new motor that long.I'm hoping to have it fired up this weekend....Thanks... ;D
