Have you done a direct comparison to an original?  I would be interested in knowing how close it is to the original.

Awesome decal sets.  Well worth it.

Hammer, can you comment on how correct this reproduction  is as compared to an original? Is it EXACTLY  the same , is it KINDA the same or is it COMPLEATLY different?

Nothing is "Exact"... there are different manufacturing processes... different materials and chemicals used.  Nothing will be an "Exact" reproduction of something that was done over 30 years ago.  What Phoenix Graphix puts out are "GM Licensed" reproduction Decal kits.  This is not some "backyard" guy putting out any vinyl decal kits.  This company went through stringent processes to get the GM License and GM's approval.  GM themselves have approved these kits to be up to thier standards or quality for decal kits to be placed on these cars.  Just because something is slgihtly (and I do mean slightly) different.. does not make it a bad product.  Like I said.... nothing is EXACT as was done 30 years ago.

i know i'm late on this post but wanted to add my story.  when i refinished my 81 TA two years ago, i ordered the decals from phoenix and when it arrived it was missing the sailbirds.  i called them and they appologized and send me another complete package with no questions asked and they did not want the first package returned.  once installed they were great.  i am ordering a set of SE decals this week for my 77.

Already planned to.  I thought I'd seen them for sale at Brett's store for cheaper than the P/G site...was confused....thought they were different.  If I can keep some money rollin' in, I'll order them from Brett next month.

I took the advice and just placed my order 2 days ago for my Two-Tome Formula graphics from Pheonix (ordered them through the 78 T/A store)
