10/05 Charity Benefit (Cars)
« on: October 06, 2008, 01:19:03 AM »
I worked a charity benefit car show and cruise this past Sunday raised nearly $5,000 for the family of the young man who is stricken with bone cancer.  The event consisted of a bike and car show, then a 65-mile round trip cruise with police escort from all of the municipalities that were traversed.

There were over 170 motocycles that partipated in the cruise or charity benefit ride, so I'll make a separate thread for some of the bike pics once I've had an opportunity to edit images.  In the meantime, here are most of the cars that participated in the car show and benefit cruise.

Nice rides. 8) Car shows are great, but when money is raised for a good cause too, it doesn't get much better than that. :)

Thanks for the pics.

I like that AMX.....  And this and that.....looks like a really nice day for a show.

Hammer

It was a beautiful day.  The owner of that AMX told me it was only one of two in the Hampton Roads area, but the other one had a small block motor (the one in the pic has a 390).

You're welcome Joe. I always liked the Javelin and the AMX. It's nice to see something different at car shows.
