Topic: Front Speaker Options

I am sure this has been covered, forgive me for not searching the forum, I am at work. I am about to re-do the interior on my 1979 Y84 and was wondering if anyone had ideas/pictures as far as where to install front speakers. I do not want to put them in the door panels. Is there a kick panel that I can buy to install them there? I am looking for something kind of subtle.

I have seen custom-made  front kick panels with speaker pods built in for sale on a few sites...ebay might be a good place to look

The vents are right where the kick panel speakers would go. Npd has a 100w twin speaker option that fits in the dash where the stock speaker goes.

I placed 4 inch speakers on either side of my shifter console near the radio. They work well there. Plus shifter consoles are easy to replace if you change your mind.

Please don't cut anything open to put speakers into. Good parts are hard to find and cost money. If you want to cut speaker holes in the console I can give you one that has been cut already. I had sneaked in 2 little  old school  3 inch speakers behind the console,one on each side, sounded great and you couldn't  see them.
