wheels & tires
« on: May 04, 2016, 08:19:39 PM »
ive got a '72 ta,  stock suspension,  but added Baer ss4 aftermarket front disks.  in order to get the 15" honeycombs to fit I had to use a .625" wheel spacer and 3.5" studs.
QUESTION:  I would like to get the Year One 17" honeycombs.  Will they fit correctly over the new Baer calipers ?  and can I put a 275/40r17 tire on without rubbing in the fenders ?

There's no reason why they shouldn't. They would actually fit better than the 15" rims

Whoops, answered wrong question.

I'd be looking at options well before adding spacers and longer studs, though. The alloy rims have a lot more room behind them than the steel rims.

Did you mean 275's on the front or rear?
