Slow response?
« on: October 13, 2009, 10:35:00 PM »
Wassup with the site today?  It's so slow that I can open another window and read 2-3 posts over on other forums before the next page loads over here.  It's telling me it's waiting on the site -- and it's just here.  Is Brett juggling things again?

It does this to me several times a day.  Started about a month ago.

In fact, it's doing it right now.  Takes about a min to go to each post.

Today it's a sometimes thing -- load one page, it takes forever -- load the next one, and it's up in a flash.  It continues to happen here and not on the other forums, though... ??? ???

No, it happens to me more after 5pm.  During the day, it seems normal.

It's running pretty good tonight.  Dunno -- if I can notice a pattern, I'll raise my hand... :-\

The reason I ask is because it never seems slow fo rme.... maybe once in a blue moon.  So if I can't see the problem then I can't resolve it.

It's calculating what to do when Rick hit's 10,000 posts ... it'll start crashing immediately when he hits the site.

Sometimes it's slow down here in Florida ... I just mix a Margie and come back.  Every time it's slow, I mix a Maaargie and stubmle bck .. .. hic.
