Topic: Trim code "232" on cowl tag?

Hello,

My 1973 Trans Am has a "TR" code #232 on the cowl tag.  I can not determine what color and type of interior that this code indicates.  I have looked in several places and cant find that code anywhere. Can anyone tell me where to find the description?

I believe 232 is white

A gentlemen on another forum thought that Norwood built cars had a "codeing quirk" concerning trim codes. He indicated that one would drop the first digit  and then  add a "1" at the end of the code to come up with  the correct code of "321" which would indicate White Std interior.   Has anyone heard of this and does this make sense?
