i would agree i use to drive dumb now the only time im driving fast is if its a straight line.  all my friends try gettin me to hit it and i just say nope cuz of stories like that.  do you know how long the guy is behind bars for.

I'm not sure actually. I think it was 2-5 years but don't quote me as I didn't follow the story that closely. I do believe his car was impounded by the police as well. I *THINK* NY also has the same street racing law that CA has - get caught, get to watch car your get crushed.

Rainman - we're cool. Just don't get caught...I'd hate to see that marty get crushed. I have a soft spot for the blue on blue TA's.

I'm really not into speed either Brian ,theres just to many variables . I do however want neck breaking torque .

Sick with an original 400, get it running right and it gives 455 a good run. Never had a problem eating Chevelles, for lunch.......It is a very streetable motor . Keeps the car original too.

I would bet anything the mechanic torqued down the rocker nuts on the RA IV heads just like on the 6X, funny part of this is that he should have set the valves like on a Chevy and you would not have had any problems, RA IVs had an adjustable valve train from the factory others did not.
