« on: December 12, 2008, 11:24:30 PM »
Being a trans am and camaro owner I wonder why pontiac did not keep good track of production and chevy has all the production #'s down to the last option, why did pontiac not keep track how many cars car with a certain option for any year and chevy did, were record lost?

Thats a great question and I was wondering the same thing.  Unlike Chevrolet, Pontiac was smart with the PHS but lacked the research on options, colors, and combo percentage.  I guess they both have their strengths and weaknessess.

For instance I just purchased a 73' T/A 455-4spd with a PW,PL, Rear Defrost, A/C, PS, PB, Buccaneer Red with a Custom white interior.  I am SO curious to know how many were made in this combination!

Ask him to show you or prove to you that there were only 272 made.... I bet he can't.

Aslo, that guy selling the car is a phony and sells nothing but cheap cars made to look pretty in photos.  Once you see the car in person it is a whole different story.

Maybe Pontiac was too busy building cool cars to keep track of how many they made?  Chevy on the other hand had plenty of time to keep track of numbers.

Maybe a hybrid dune buggy too?
