What's a complete 1978 Y3 455 worth?

Has stock manifold and carb
Stock exhaust manifolds
looks pretty decent not all rusty or grimey

Hasn't run in years, no way to test if its blown

Seems high to me especially if it is not in running condition.

I figured $400-$500 but I'm not sure how rare a 455 is if it is rare at all

I sold one last year for $1200.  It was running on an engine stand so the buyer could hear it, see the oil pressure and engine temp.  Damian.

Sold a clean but stuck ( wrist pins) 1973 YC 455 complete for 1000 this spring.  1500 buys a running one unless its  a rarity. A 1978 455 would be a rarity been they stopped production in '76.

4-500 buys a rebuildable core 400 around here. Although I do see a downward trend as the LS  based swaps become more popular.
