I'm restoring a 78 Martinique Blue TA, what is the correct factory material and  finish for the inside of the rear  trunk.

Old topic, but try to see what the original finish on your trunk is, if not repainted by now. They went from spatter paint and matching vinyl liner to black and black felt liner, but it didn't seem to be a fixed cutoff point, just slowly introduced. For example, mine seemed to be factory black and was original with primer around the sides showing, but original cars from same factory have showed up showing the fleck type that were built much later.

Here's a factory example, more of a black with random mess spatter, not like how many restored or spray cans look.
