Hey JT_Y88,

I think they look pretty sweet... I am more an engine guy than a wheel guy but you have to love the shine.. I would be less worried about what people think and more worried about ripping out those drums... it is an easy change... if nothing else just spend $5 on some paint (make sure it is Brake paint or ya will be doing it again in a week..

paint Yea.... I got some left over high heat olds engine spray paint (Hitman refferred the universal Gold Color to me) when I refinished my snow flakes.  Matches the Solar gold perfect.  I will be doing some spraytainted this winter.  I'd like to do a disc conversion in the rear...thought it would be more of hassle than anything else though???  You'd be happy that my engine was the first job to tackle.
Sir English, I like the look of those wheels, man you stole those from somebody.  does that racing stripe cover the entire vehicle?

JT_Y88...Love the valve covers.  I think I am going to get those.  They are sweet.

Sir english firebird...Did you bondo over the pontiac emblem on the front bumper cover?  It looks really good.  Love the paint and the stripe.  IT give the car a whole different look.

Sort of, Bondo " sinks back " however yes i did smooth it out, it only had a very light skim over the top, i have seen another " famous " 78 ta with a smooth nose and you can see the signs of sinkage in it.

I think your turned out very nice.  In the far future when I paint mine I plan on the same thing.  I think it gives it a slick look.

Year one sells 17x9 snowflakes if you wanted to save some money for a good price and still keep the good old look to it. I would put on your old snowflakes if it were me.
