Also, hotel locations and prices have been posted. You will need to call each hotel individually this year unlike past years when a travel agent was used. See you there!

I am really considering doing the Bandit Run this year.  Need to speak to the "War Department" and see what she has to say, but I'm really thinking about it :)

As I keep saying you wont regret it. It is an absolute ball. You will bring home stories that will make all your friends jealous! It seems like the same "family community" you find in this forum carries over into the entire Trans Am community because everyone you meet on the Run is always very friendly and willing to give help when needed.

If you are even considering going do it... and if you hate it you can blame it on me!

You should go with us! I'm hearing that there will be some who are doing the BAN ONE show staying over in McDonough and linking up with run on Sun morning when it leaves Year One to Tipton.  Heck if I can drive my TTA with 40K miles on the clock you can drive that old brown car :)

This does seem to be an awesome event to participate in, but a very expensive one as well.

the hotels are usually discounted for a group rate in the first place, dont know how much you can really save.... i know it was cheaper to go wherever the group went back in 07 when i went

Some people stayed a couple miles away last year at a motel for $50 or less a nite, as opposed to the $90/nite we paid at the host hotel.  And they got free shuttle back and forth to the showgrounds.  The host hotel is convenient, but nowhere close to the cheapest ones around there.  The rooms this year are about $10 higher than last year too.

Hi everyone, I am new here. My name is Lisa (AKA JOSE) from CA. I was hoping the run would move closer the CA. Thinking about a very small local run to mirror the FL dates. Anyone ever try this? ;D
