Santa Cruise Mornington Oz... Pic heavy
« on: December 22, 2011, 10:14:16 PM »
On December the 6th (Tuesday arvo) kaz and i jumped into the boat and cruised on down to the Mornington Santa Cruise event which is about an hour south of us
We had been to past Santa cruises and know it can get pretty busy on the night...well this time the place was going off!!

Not long after we rocked up the main man, Santa turned up with a couple Santa groupies ;D

Later on i found him chilling out in an old Holden

Next a couple of Fred's favorites 8)

I think this is the car that Fred really wants ;)

Plenty of Rods

A truck or two 8)

One Gen 2 TA that was super nice

Oops how did this get in :D

A low rider ,err not looking low

But ready for action

Found this nice Gen 3 GTA  parked outside

Some cars looking for a Christmas tree to sit under

and to finish off a couple Aussie classics 8) 8)

Kaz heard through the grape vine that not long after we got there they closed the gates (said it went off) due to the huge turn out
Rumour has it around 900 cars  turned up and $9000.00 was made on the night that went to a local charity 8) 8)

The cruise is meant to be for pre 75 cars but they still let the younger ones in

very nice, so when does your ta get to go to the shows?  i like kaz's car as well.

the red 2nd gen was sweet but the tires look like moped tires, a little thin.

AH. That would explain the shortage of 2nd Gen TA's. They should call it the "Smog Exempt Car Show" since its for 75 and older cars. Nice variety though.
