DriveTrain / '79 403 Spark Plug Choice
« Last post by Maxthe222 on Today at 03:19:34 AM »
Hey guys,

Looking to get some new plugs for my Y84, what kind of plugs should I get? I'm considering NGK V-Power Model XR45 Plugs.

Are those ok, or do you guys have any better suggestions? I'm more for reliability over power.

Thanks folks!

Sorry for the late reply, but i'd say upload the images to "Imgur", then insert them through to the website either by copy and pasting the link to the photo you uploaded onto that website, or embedding it on your post. These days photos taken on phones are too high quality for these ol' websites so I imagine that's why it won't work.

It depends what gold was used on your honeycombs. If they are original then likely highly faded, if not then they could be anything. If just needing to touch up chips then take the paint code to the nearest paint mixing shop.

Suspension / Re: 285/40R17's all 4 corners?

It would look.......STUPID. And would rub on everything and give the look of being much wider up front due to the wider track. If you need convincing, take one off the back and swap to opposite corner and stand back.

Suspension / 285/40R17's all 4 corners?
« Last post by homebudy on November 19, 2017, 05:49:43 PM »
Hey guys! Anyone out here run 285/40R17's on all 4 corners? Right now I'm tore between running on all 4 wheels or running the 285/40's on the rears and 255/45's up front. I've always been a fan on keeping the same tire size all around. Given the size we're talking about I have to wonder about drivability and stability. Any input would be great! Thanks

Parts Wanted / Re: WTB: Gold w/ Tan Formula steering wheel

used tan will generally be worn and grubby, there's the repros which are dyed to match, well to match something, that probably differs also. The anodised gold also differs from pale brushed with gold tint to horrible deep metallic yellow. Match it to your dash for best results, when you get one.
