Topic: Engine number help

Hi guys,

I'm trying to find information on the motor in my TA.
Unfortunately the car had a transplant from the original motor.

I suspect it's a 350 chevy motor. The cast number on the block is 3970010, which led to this. The issue however is the engine number K0310H. It seems there should be another letter after the 'H' but there isn't.

Can someone help me with info please?

I did find the first number as a block code for a 350 and, as for the other, there does seem to be a letter or two missing.  Maybe the link below can help you out more than I.

Thanks. I've also been looking at the site, but yes, as you say, there seems to be 2 letters missing at the end.
