First thanks for the big welcome. I actually imported the car from New Zealand a couple of years ago, because the car is over 30 years old it didn't have to have the conversion thank god. Although I did have to change the tail lights to amber indicators and the seat belts. A local guy I know made some amber inserts for my lights and they almost look stock. Look forward to being a part of the forum. Many Thanks Joe.

Welcome aboard Joe.  :)  Nice T/A you've got there. 8) It's good to see a 74 T/A alive and doing VERY well. I sure would like to see more 74 and 75 Trans Ams.

Hi everyone,

I bring you warm greetings from one of the most beautiful cities on earth - Cape Town, South Africa.

I must confess that I sold my T/A about 2 years ago.  Suppose I feel a bit like Clarke Kent at the moment…just wearing his regular tailored suit to work each day with no the red and blue costume underneath.
But, I’m planning a comeback.  To that end, I have been scouring this forum for info and restoration tips.

Thought it would polite to at least say “hi”... and "thanks".  All your contributions have certainly made this the best 2nd generation Trans Am forum on the net.

Ciao,
Andy.

Welcome to 78TA.com, Andy!  If you can, why not post up some picturs of your old TA?  We love pictures (everyone except Jeff, who is merely extremely fond of them), and we'd love to hear more about it.  Good luck on getting another one! :) :) :)
