Super-helpful.  Ames is only one state away, so shipping to me might be pretty quick, too.

Since the GM/Delco part is Chinese anyway (based on Burd Turd's photo) doesn't everyone reckon that it might not be a bad idea to buy the aftermarket pump at half the cost?  Or is the quality much worse?  I'd guess one company makes it and Delco just rebrands it.

Also, the washer bottle part #FP603R comes up as invalid on the Ames site, and a keyword search search for "washer bottle" yields no results.  ???

If you plug that number FP681 into the Ames search tool, it does bring up what is pictured and described as a GM pump.

The bottle I can't find yet.  Hoping Renovations can clarify that one.

If I have to end up going eBay or used for the bottle: what years interchange for the style with the pump mounted in the bottle?

Sorry for the typo...the GM washer bottle is part # FP603...$45....the part # (FP603R)I mis-typed as "GM" but it is actually the aftermarket bottle.

I looked up part # FP603R on Ames site and found "FP603R    75-78 WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR.(RE) 21.00"

I see both of them now.  Odd.  I copied the part number from your original reply and pasted it inot the Ames site last night, and came up with bupkus.  Now it shows the repro fine.

Does anyone have experience with the repro jars?  I don't mind paying more for better quality originals, but if the repro units are good, then I will save some bucks.
