79SE--

I'll add to the "low resolution" set...

Here's the very first photograph I took of my '79 Tenth Anniversary four speed just after I purchased it in August 1998.  A friend and I were using his front yard as a staging area, doing a tune-up, replacing the belts and hoses, and putting on new tires just prior to me driving it from Rochester, NY to Dallas, TX:

Although a moderately low mileage car (roughly 45K at the time this was taken), if you look closely it's missing some stripes on the flares and on both the front and rear spoiler (which had recently been repainted).  All missing stripes have since been added.

Here's a picture I took at the 2007 Virginia fall classic.....beautiful car (I kept coming back to it over and over again).

The owner of this particular Trans Am is an older gentleman who lives in Newport News, Virginia, and has several second generation Trans Ams including a gorgeous orange (durango bronze??) 1976 Formula.  I will attempt to get pictures of some of his cars this summer, although he doesn't frequent any of the local car cruises and rarely seems to come to shows.  I tried to talk him into getting involved in the local Tidewater Trans Am Club, but he didn't seem very interested (bummer).
