1971 Pontiac Trans Am (clone) - $9000 (South Beloit Illinois)

1971 Pontiac Trans Am (clone) for sale, 9,000 o.b.o.
or may be willing to trade for a bandit edition t/a 77-79

The Vin number says Firebird Espirit but this car is now a trans am in every detail.
Engine is a pontiac 400 6.6l New Carb, Edelbrock Intake, New Water Pump, New Valve Covers
Trans is a Turbo 350 Automatic with a shift kit installed
Front End has been rebuilt with new springs and shocks
Paint job and body was done about 3 years ago. so its not perfect but it still is a head turner and a tropy winner at car shows. Cameo White With Blue Stripe
Interior Is mostly all orginal. Blue Leather. seats have some small tears wich is repairable. the dash has a aftermarket cover on. good headliner, good carpet. CD player new speakes
New Radiator, went to a 5 core , also has dual electrit fans installed, this car does not over heat like alot of 400s do.
Trunk is solid has carpet installed. comes with full size spare tire.
New Bf Goodrich T/A Radials all the way around.
newer exaust, i think mufflers are Pro Flo .

hey were not KIDS ! we may look young.  but im 26 and he is 23 , i think thats how old he is.  but yeah he has a red gto.

Well, those numbers represent "KIDS" to some of us.  You guys were suckin on your bottles while I was in Desert Storm.  Yes, the first one.     Beauty of a car though, like it better as a TA than the Bullrun stickers anyday.

well i have had 3 people come and look at the car but no takers yet. one guy offered me $6,000.  which i thought was too low.  What do you guys think my 71 trans am clone is worth ?  am i asking the right amount ?

Honestly I think your giving it away at that price. I'm sure you have much more invested in it than that. It may sound cliche, but the collector car market is tough right now. I would trade you my '78 for it in a heartbeat, but mine still needs some work which I'm getting ready to do.
