^^^ I agree,the car's in fantastic shape!
I am having to waste money on my house right now .So thing's were going to be a little to tight for me  if I bought i ,but I still want it . Driving me crazy actually lol.
It was going to cost me another 6G to get the car painted like an SE though .
I am not a big fan of blue ,but maybe in this case it would have looked alright

Well, I'm 2 out of 3.  Sold the '90 Bandit 2 and the '02 SLP Firehawk.  I really thought this car would be the first one to sell ???  Do they still make these? :o   It's gonna be lonely without its playmates in the garage with it.  Seriously, this car has won multiple trophies at the Nats "C'' class: second gen stock.  Placed from 1st to 5th every time it was entered.  The trophies go with the car, as do the national magazine articles featuring this car.  It was even featured in HPP's 50th anniversary special edition magazine.  Also featured in a national Firebird calender (Wings Ablaze).  Have the build sheet confirming the WS6 pkg, 2:56 posi rear, black tail lamps, etc...  The clock still works!  Rust-free, low-mileage, 95% original paint (trunk lid was painted years ago for some reason),excellent interior, original L78 400 engine, all numbers-matching car.  Just a couple of minor dings.  Stock radio, everything works on the car.  One-year only color.  Asking price of $22,500.  Serious cash offers considered.  No trades.  No owner financing.  Although the owner runs a bank and might be able to finance it through the bank if you wanted to do that.  That's between you and him- all I do is the advertising for him.  You will not be disappointed with this car.  Or if someone wants to buy all my parts and parts cars for $20g's, I'll buy it and put it up to save it. ;D

Well, they defaulted on the second payment and lost their entire $5 investment.  To quote those famous words from the mouth of  "Rose" while she was kicking back and relaxing on the floating door while poor "Jack" was freezing his cajones off in the frigid Atlantic in the movie Titanic:  I'll never let go [of the $5] Jack- I'll NEVER let go!

Well the thought did cross my mind .I think the black SE look is the ultimate look, but I want to see if this grows on me or not.
All my buddies at Chevy Truck World say keep it blue .
Never was a big fan of blue ,but I gotta say that looks like a wicked shade of blue .
I think a Guy should repaint it to it's factory color by right's ,probably look great with a new paint job after 30 years

If you paint that car you will regret it for the rest of your life. i always wanted a black SE too until I found my Martinique Blue 78 WS6 with numbers matching 86K miles on it. Took her to Nats in 2007 and had NUMEROUS compliments and comments from people who had been looking for one just like her. Still have her, and ive actually been kicking around the idea of selling her too, or trading for a 00-02 Firehawk or something of that nature.
