On a title it usually states the model year, not the year of production.  I had a 78 Trans Am that was made in october of 1977, and the title still stated it was a 1978.

I sent him an e-mail with this very statement.  The 10/78 door tag tells me it's a 1979 vehicle.  The VIN has a "9" in it.

He's obtuse ... or in oz-speak, he's a bit dense.

I think it generates interest against the advertisement.  We're talking about it.   That said, we all know his elevator doesn't make it to the top floor.
