I've began my engine rebuild for my 78 TA. I don't have a desktop dyno or any other computer programs that predict horsepower . I thought maybe someone one here could enter my data to see what it's worth , or maybe somebody has built a engine like this and had it dynoed and could tell me what to expect. Anyhow its a 400 with a forged stroker crank , H beam rods & 430 gram ross pistons giving it a C I D of 467 .The heads are 87 cc edelbrock with 2.19 intake valves and 1.77 exhaust . They have been ported out to flow 310 cfm at .600 lift . The heads have been milled to give it 10.25 to 1 compression .The cam is a Comp Cams extreme energy hydraulic roller XR288 it has a duration at .050 of .236 intake & .242 exh. and a overall duration of .288 intake & .294 exhaust with a lobe seperation of 110 . I am going to run full roller rockers with a 1.65 ratio which will give it a lift of .571 intake and .593 exhaust . Intake is a port matched performer rpm with a 850 mighty demon on top . dougs headers with 1 7/8 pri. into a 3 1/2 collector . thanks in advance for any input
