eroc is correct w/ needing an electric pump if you engine can utilize a 1/2" line. One thing I found out is that a 7/16" line would probably work , but a -7 AN fitting does not exist so that makes people go to the 1/2" line. just be sure to have a 3/8" return line. one thing to keep in mind s that as the fuel flows back to te tank, it is heating up due to friction. hot fuel is not the best for performance. A sump would be beneficial, however it is not nessecary unless do plan on cornering hard on low fuel. as for the in tank inlet, i would think you could replace it with a 1/2" pipe, just weld it up nicely. block off plates are available from many places, pioneer, kre, summit ect. or just take a piece of aluminum and cut and drill it to the shape you need.
