I have the L78 400 and wondering which air cleaner set up I should be using like is it the one with the round end or oval end where the fresh air is brought in ??

'78 non-W72 (L78) 400 would use the round (trumpet style) air cleaner assembly

it is , so im going to clean it up and paint it , make it look purdy

, I got this car few years ago and it's been messed with so much from previous owners that I'm trying to figure what's supposed to be on it

, your going to see me posting more questions as I go along with this car.
