There are many posts on this site and other sites about these wheels.  I actually just got mine last week and need to get some tires on them.  I think they are great quality.  Here is a bad picture but you get the idea...

As said there are tons of threads about these wheels. I have them on mine and think they are great.

I also have a lowering kit on my car, PTFB's GT kit, and I am going to use 285/40 on the rear and 255/45 on the front.  YearOne used a 275/40 all the way around and looks really good if you can get your fender gap to look right.  That is why I went with the tires above because they are a little taller then the 275/40.

Kevin's car above also has the hotchkis lowering kit.  I think he has 255/45 all the way around, I think?  Am I right??

55s might be a bit big especially with it lowered. 255/50 is around the stock size so 55s would be a bit bigger.

been looking into tires for my YO wheels the 255/50/17 is about 5/16 inch smaller than stock and the 255/55/17 is 5/8 inch bigger than stock. the only place i have been able to find a 50 series tire is from summit racing so far. i was thinking of 255 in the front and 275 in the rear. have not decided yet, gotta get some cash together first.

Admiralty Blue. It's a 74 model year color.  There are quite a few 74 SD TAs painted that color.
